Surprise capsules have 10 pieces that create multiple looks, usually with a mix-and-match component. Some silhouettes are styled into capsules year-round, like cotton pants, onesies and light layers. Seasonal items like shorts and sweaters are included based on the season of the order.

Carousel is a re-homing agency of sorts for a broad range of lightly preloved styles.

Many of the pieces in our inventory are from everyday brands that share our cotton obsession, like Gap, H&M, Oshkosh B'gosh, Carter's and Primary.

You may also find a tiny treasure in your capsule from a premium brand like Hanna Andersson or organic cotton brand like Monica + Andy or Rabbit Bear.

We triple check our inventory to make sure all items in ready for round two at your place.

Most styles have minimal signs of wear, as you'd expect from being worn and washed a handful of times.

We do also sometimes pass along brand new items with tags still attached.

We follow the size labels for most baby clothing in our inventory.

If a garment has a double size listed, for example 6 - 12 months, we'll typically include it in the smaller size category.

If an item's size label seems very off from it's actual sizing, we'll include it with items that are physically the same size.
