Learn about our Good Guarantee
We’re serious when it comes to reducing textile waste. And we believe making that happen can be a lot of fun.
Our Good Guarantee is our promise that every small article of clothing we encounter will be thoughtfully passed along for its next act in a way that minimizes environmental impact and supports our community.
Here are the stories:
Restyled
Clothing that makes it into our styled mini capsules meets our high standards for quality and condition. These items are typically made mostly or entirely of natural fibers, like cotton, and have few to no signs of wear.
Spaghetti dinner
We receive a number of items that have slightly more visible signs of wear, like a small stain that’s noticeable but in a way that tells that item’s story, not ends it. They are fit for many more play dates, so we’ve come up with a solution that’s fun and planet-friendly: they’re freebies! These items are tagged with a small sticker at the collar and added as extras to bundles if they are otherwise a fit for your style.
Giving back
Using our platform to make a difference in our community is an essential component of our business. Throughout the year, we donate gently used items to local charities that distribute them directly to those in need, like Little Essentials and Room to Grow. The items we donate are those that we are unable to sell, but that are in good condition, in season and on the “needs list” for each charity.
Art class
Creativity is at the heart of our business–it’s certainly what’s behind our mini capsule concept.
In our modern world, when we reimagine how re-thinking the things we buy, how we use them, and how we dispose of them, creativity and sustainability are one and the same.
To that end, certain items we receive lend themselves well to artful repair or upcycling–white onesies perfect for decorating, plain sweatshirts perfect for patches, denim jackets perfect for embroidery. Stay tuned for more information on how you can upcycle with us!
Recycling
Anything we receive that is too worn to be reused will be passed along for recycling, currently with Wearable Collections. This is the final chapter for those garments, and it’s a much happier ending than that of clothing that winds up in a landfill.
