how do I get started?

Drives are done in partnership with a group, which could be a large residential building, daycare / preschool or other community. If you have an interested group, you can fill out the form below to get started!

If you don't have a group, you can also request a pickup (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens) or a mail in bag.

what are the steps to organize a drive?

After confirming the drive with your partner organization (building, school, etc.) we finalize the details together:

  • Dates (ideally about 3 days)
  • Drop off location

Carousel will then provide marketing materials (flyer, social post, email) that can be used to communicate the drive and the benefits of participation to the group.

what does the drive host do?

what items can be included?

We accept baby and children's items up to size 8 in the following categories:

  • clothing
  • outerwear
  • footwear

We ask that all clothing items be laundered, please.

You may include items in poor condition, which we will recycle with a partner.

how do I get a discount?

Families will receive a 15% discount on their next order if we accept 10+ articles of clothing to restyle into our signature mini capsules.

Items that count towards the discount minimum are:

  • clean
  • in good condition (no stains, rips, etc.)
  • in season
  • in universally appealing styles
  • made mostly or entirely of natural fibers

The discount will be emailed to eligible families within about one week of the drive.

what happens to items traded in?

We make sure items never reach the landfill by restyling, recirculating and recycling.

how does drop off work?

We'll create a sign with a QR code to leave at the designated drop off location. When families drop off bags, they can scan the code to leave their name, email and bag details.

We'll use the email address to reach out with discounts post drive!
